1. Who we are
Diet Maharaj ("the app") is a private household meal-planning and food-diary web app, available at meals.sthaan.ai. It is operated by Tanuj Lalit Bhojwani ("we", "us"), an individual based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

2. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
3. Your account
You sign in either with your Google account or with a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account and Google account secure. Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your country. The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. See the Privacy Policy for more on children's data.
4. What the app does
The app lets a household:
- plan weekly meals and keep a recipe library;
- track a pantry of ingredients;
- keep a food diary — what a person ate, when, photographs of meals, and estimated macronutrients (calories, protein, carbs, fat, fibre);
- store member profiles: names, photos, dietary notes and preferences, and macronutrient targets;
- track habits and daily calorie budgets.
5. Households and shared data
The app is built around households. This matters, so please read it carefully:
- Other members of your household can see the household's meal plans, recipes and pantry.
- Depending on how your household is set up, another member can see your food diary, your photos, your dietary notes and your targets.
- One person can record meals on behalf of another person in the same household — for example a cook logging what was served, or a parent logging a child's meals.
Only join a household with people you trust with this information. If you record data about another person, make sure they know and are happy for you to do so.
6. AI features and their limits
The app sends meal photographs and text descriptions to AI models to estimate macronutrients, and uses AI to extract recipes from cooking videos. The AI providers used are Cloudflare Workers AI and Google Gemini.
These estimates are approximate and are often wrong. The app is a convenience tool for tracking food, not a medical, dietetic or nutritional service. Nothing in the app is medical advice. Do not rely on it to manage a medical condition, an allergy, a therapeutic diet, or anything else where accuracy matters. Talk to a doctor or a qualified dietitian instead.
7. How you may use the app
Please do not:
- upload content you do not have the right to upload, or content that is illegal, abusive, or obscene;
- upload photos of other people without their knowledge and agreement;
- try to break into other households' data, or attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service;
- use the app to build a competing service or scrape it at scale.
8. Your content
Your recipes, photos, diary entries and notes remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only so far as is needed to run the app for you and your household — including sending photos and descriptions to the AI providers named above for analysis.
We do not sell your content or your personal data, we do not show advertising, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking.
9. Price
The app is currently free to use. We plan to offer a paid subscription in future. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price and terms before you are asked to pay for anything, and continuing to use the app will never silently start a charge.
10. Availability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". It is a small service and may be unavailable, slow, or change without notice. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or end the service.
Please keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We do our best to keep your data safe but we do not guarantee against loss.
11. Ending your account
You may stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account and data — see the Privacy Policy for how. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop running the service.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or any harm arising from decisions you make based on the app's nutritional estimates. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
